17 future Forest Guardians are ready. They just need you.

Thousands of young people grow up beside some of the world's most important, and threatened, rainforests. They watch the forests their families depend on disappear. They see wildlife vanish before their eyes. And they want to do something about it.

But without education, they can't. The knowledge, the skills, the careers that could change everything - they're out of reach. So the forests keep shrinking. And another generation grows up without the tools to fight back.

Unless we act now.

Orangutan Caring Scholarships give young people from low-income rainforest communities the chance to study, lead, and protect the forests their families depend on. Students study biology, veterinary science, and forest conservation, then step into careers as rangers, scientists, policy-makers, and conservation leaders. They become the guardians their forests - and our planet - desperately need.

These University Scholarships are named for the orangutan. One of our closest relatives, and one of the most threatened animals on Earth. By educating the communities who live alongside them, we give orangutans, and countless other species, a fighting chance.

Right now, 17 students are ready. They have the passion, the drive, and the will to protect their forest homes. They just need one thing: the chance you can give them.

The university year begins in August. Every scholarship must be funded by 30 June.

That deadline is closer than it seems. Once it passes, students must wait another year. Rainforests cannot afford to wait any longer.
